Feral Exhibition

Only once we understand the landscape; can we begin to subvert it to our design. As a race we seek to control the landscape in order to suit our more selfish desires for stability, for power, for prestige, but do we often consider that this control has corrupted something so naturally beautiful? The artist’s practice strives to challenge acceptability by altering the landscape with structures borne out of nature itself; vast but exaggerated natural structures dwarf familiar landscapes as a reminder that there are forces greater than humanity on earth. The artist is concerned with the damage humanity has forced upon its planet. How we as individuals have corrupted our future to live materialistically in the present and how our actions will resonate with future generations in ways about which we are as yet unclear.
