Feral Exhibition
Megan Seymour-Jones

Megan Seymour Jones’ work is reactive to life experiences; charged with raw emotion the work attempts to deal with the difficult transitional period between childhood and adulthood.

Through video, installation and live performance, Megan explores the difference with our perception of the world as children and as adults.

Looking at ideas of territorialisms, belonging and patriotism, she invites the audience to contemplate who we are and what has shaped us all into individual characters.

Megan offers herself as the case study; permitting the audience to take an excursion with their own inner child into the chaotic realm of her mind.

Whilst bold, fun and full of humour the work challenges us to bring together the two states of being; the emotion in reaction to everyday life and the escapism we indulge in with the tool of imagination.
