Liminal is about the emerging and submerging figure. It appears and disappears within the liquid, causing ambivalent feelings surrounding life and death. It explores eastern beliefs that death is not the end and acts as a continuous cycle with life.

The photographs holds the subject in a liminal space challenging the viewer to decide weather the figure is appearing or disappearing, dying or being born, however nature of the photograph prevents the subject from doing either, trapping it eternally in the transformation between both worlds.
